More proof that Prince was not a fan of the Kardashians

Cape Town – Who would have guessed that Prince was a New Girl fan?

That's what New Girl star Zooey Deschanel found out when his manager contacted her to say that the singer was interested in making a cameo on the sitcom.

During an interview with Conan O'Brien Zooey gave some insider details on what went down when Prince was on the show. 

And they are juicy!

Zooey revealed that Prince had one big condition for his appearance: no Kardashians!

In case you need to be reminded, Prince wasn't a Kardashian fan. In 2011 he booted Kim off the stage during a concert.

So it comes as no surprise that he did not want any of the Kardashians to be on the episode. 

It turned out to be a one of those #thatawkwardsituation as a producer had lined up Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner to appear with him. 

Just before Prince arrived producers yanked up the script and burnt them to remove any trace of the Kardashians.
