Mzansi Magic has a hot telenovela for the youth

Johannesburg - Mzansi Magic is adding a new daily to South Africa’s TV line-up with this youth telenovela that delves into what it means to be a Generation Y black person in an era of instant gratification, social media and peer pressure.

Starring industry newcomers Nandi Mbatha and Zamani Mbatha, alongside veterans Hamilton Dlamini and Meshack Mavuso Magabane, Isithembiso looks at what happens when the idealistic filter through which young people look at life is ripped off to reveal that “all that glitters is not always gold”.

The show is brought to you by Bomb Productions, who gave us the award-winning soapie Isibaya.
