Cape Town – Steve Harvey’s Miss Universe blunder will no doubt go down as one of the worst pageant moments in history.
Despite the big mess up when he announced the wrong winner on Sunday, Harvey has been invited back to host the pageant next year.
According to Deadline.com Mark Shapiro, Chief Content Officer at WME|IMG in an interview revealed that Harvey would be welcomed back to host the pageant in 2016.
He went on to say that Harvey was remorseful and that he did a great job and he wants him to come back to host to redeem himself.
Harvey also drew support from the Belize Tourism Board who asked him to host at beauty pageant at their Costa Maya Festival.
Dear @IAMSteveHarvey, we all make mistakes. You handled yours with class. Would you host our next pageant? @CostaMayaFest #MissUniverse2015
