Cape Town – We were pleasantly surprised and absolutely stunned by the first episode of The Voice South Africa.
Skeptics had their knives out for the local version of the international singing reality show, but nobody could find fault after Sunday night’s premiere episode.
An entertaining show with a positive and uplifting vibe that really makes you feel good about the talent in this country.
But there’s one thing that caught our eye. The handsome prince of Afrikaans music, Bobby van Jaarsveld, delighted us with his energetic presence on the show.
Jumping, leaping, sitting, slouching and standing all over that swivelling red chair, Bobby quickly became our favourite element of the show. (We love Karen, Lira and Kahn too of course.)
The handsome singer stole our heart with his flirty smile and boy-next-door charm! Lekker!
We collected some of Bobby’s best red chair moments below:
He can leave his shoes under our bed any day...
He's pushing all the right buttons!
Hand in the air if you're the cutest judge on the show!
That look in his eyes!
Seriously! Why is he married?!!! :(
Putting his best ass-et to work! Werk it!
Tune in every Sunday at 17:30 on M-Net (DStv 101).
