Cape Town – First time singer Craig Lucas blew the judges away at his blind audition on The Voice SA.
Craig who has always loved singing made a promise to his mother that he would finish his degree first.
He studied politics, philosophy and economics at UCT before doing his Honours in finance.
It's hard to believe that his blind audition was his first foray into singing on a stage.

The 24-year-old Capetonian has turned out to be a firm favourite in the competition.
His coach, Kahn Morbee referred to him as the love child of Freddy Mercury and John Legend.
On the fourth live show of the Voice SA, Craig took on Harry Styles', Sign of the Times which many called the performance of the night.

1. He’s a horrible driver – he failed his driver’s test five times.
2. He has a tortoise named Toby.
3. He loves washing dishes.
4. He can hold his breath for ages.
5. He will eat anything!
6. Speaking of eating – the hotter, the better. He’s been sick from eating food that’s just too spicy, but then went back to get more once he felt better. Basically, he’s addicted to it.
7. He is always ready to nap. Anytime, anywhere.
