WATCH: Chaos erupts in Big Brother house as news of David’s death spreads

Cape Town – Chaos erupted in the British Celebrity Big Brother house after David Bowie’s ex-wife, Angie Bowie, revealed that the singer had passed away.

Shortly after Big Brother told Angie that her ex-husband had lost his battle with cancer the visibly shaken 66-year-old left the diary room.

In shock Angie shares the news of David's death with housemate, Tiffany Pollard.

Tiffany, an American reality TV star, mistakenly thinks that Angie is referring to fellow housemate David Gest, who retired to his bedroom earlier after not feeling well.

What follows next is absolute chaos and confusion as a case of mistaken identity ends with the housemates rushing to David's bedside.
