WATCH: Katie Price reveals more about messages she received from Oscar Pistorius during his trial

Cape Town - Katie Price, previously known by the pseudonym Jordan, appeared on a British talk show on Tuesday where she opened up about the messages she received from Oscar Pistorius during his murder trial.

The 38-year-old former glamour model appeared on an episode of Loose Women in which they discussed females who are fascinated by male serial killers.

During the interview Katie admits that the former Paralympian sent direct messages to her on Twitter while being tried for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

Katie says she received the messages from Oscar after she wrote a column in which she mentioned him.

She said: "I mentioned him in a column I did and it started from there. He was thanking me and I thought, ‘Is this really him?’ My brother saw the messages and then he had a verified tick. It was definitely him.

"In the column I was saying you’ve got to let the courts decide. Don’t judge anyone until the courts decide."

She added: "He was direct messaging me during his case when all the media stuff was going on before the verdict.

"It got to the point where I thought, ‘Actually I don’t want to message. I don’t want to cross that barrier where I’ve got dialogue.’"

Oscar will be sentenced in June for Reeva’s murder after his culpable homicide conviction (and its five-year prison sentence) was overturned by the Supreme Court in December 2015.
