WATCH: This could have been Olivia Pope's life

Cape Town – The Fixer (aka Scandal) reach a milestone this week. 

The popular Shonda Rhimes drama which stars Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope will celebrate its 100th episode. 

And the writers are switching it up majorly. 

The upcoming episode will be set in a parallel universe in which Olivia, Mellie (Bellamy Young), and Cyrus (Jeff Perry) never rigged the election.

In the promo Olivia is seen walking down the isle, but who's waiting for her at the altar?

Episode 10 will air in SA on Monday, 17 April at 20:30 on M-Net (DStv 101).

The cast celebrated the 100th episode in style on Saturday in Los Angeles.
