We chat to the fourth evictee of The Search: E! Host SA

Cape Town – The search for South Africa's first E! Host is heating up.

The top 5 contestants learned this week that it's not all glitz and glamour and that there is a lot of hard work involved.

For the first challenge they had to match celebrities with their charities. After an overall poor performance the contestants went on to prepare for the elimination challenge.

The elimination challenge involved the contestants having a network dinner with ProVerb, Penny Lebyane, Gerry Elsdon and Hlubi Mboya about their charity work.

News reader Abigail Visagie went on to win the challenge and was rewarded with a surprise gift, a video call with E! host Zuri Hall.

Radio host and TV presenter Mosa Kaiser was the fourth hopeful to be eliminated.

We chatted to Mosa about her experience.

Which celebrity guest judge was your favourite?

Bonang Matheba was my favourite judge. Her accolades as a presenter and how she manages her brand, speak for themselves.

What would you have done differently during the celebrity dinner?

I would have listened and tailored my questions to fit the scenario and not gone full investigative journalist at the dinner table.

You mentioned that you thought Jessica should be the one leaving – what was your reasoning?

I think I just struggled to see her as an E! presenter – I guess that’s why I wasn’t one of the judges. Having said that, I should’ve just focused on getting my own ducks in a row.

If another opportunity of this nature came up, would you take it?

Yes, definitely. But this time, I would win it! I learnt a lot during my time on the show, it helped me become a better version of myself, both as a presenter, and in life.

If you had to motivate why you should stay in the show – what would you say?

I take direction very well and believe that with even more guidance, I could grow to become the kind of presenter who adapts to any situation or scenario. And I’m so E! Red Carpet, darling!
