We had a front row seat at the first live show of The Voice SA

Johannesburg – The Voice South Africa kicked off its final leg on Sunday. The talent’s fate to advance to the next round now lies in the hands of the viewers.

How it works:

The first two lives show will see sixteen talents hit the stage from each coach. After their performances the coach can only save one member of their team, leaving the viewers to decide which one of the three will remain in the competition.

The one from each team who gets the most votes among the remaining three will then proceed to the next round. This result will be revealed at the beginning of the following week’s show.

Two singers from each coach will remain in the game after this week’s live show and two more after the following week’s performances. Voting will open during each of these live shows and close for the week’s performances on Thursdays at 22:00.

Viewers will be able to vote on several platforms, including SMS, WeChat, mobile, The Voice SA website and The Voice SA App, and all of the voting details, including the talent’s voting numbers, will be shared during the live shows. All of the voting rules and terms and conditions will also be made available on The Voice SA website – www.mnet.tv/thevoice
