Cape Town - Will & Grace (1998-2006) fans, your prayers have been answered.
The much loved comedy show is returning for a new 10 episode season. According to Leslie Jordan, Karen Walker’s (Megan Mullally) frenemy Beverley Leslie throughout the series, confirmed the series is returning.
Huffington Post revealed that the main cast sparked revival rumours with a new 10-minute episode to encourage viewers to vote in the 2016 American Presidential election.
It’s rumoured that a month later, Eric McCormack (Will Truman), Debra Messing (Grace Adler), Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes (Jack McFarland) were all reportedly in talks to reprise their characters for a short once-off new season.
Megan Mullally, our favourite pill-poppin', cashmere-wearin', fun-lovin' drunk, and an uber snob Karen Walker in the series, told Entertainment Tonight the “new season would continue to riff humorously on the current state of American politics and social affairs.
Considering there will be a President Donald Trump by the time the show begins shooting in July, it couldn't be a better time for its return.”
At present it’s yet unsure which channel in South Africa will air the new season.
