Cape Town – The Queen fans have something to rejoice about.

The popular Mzansi Magic drama produced by power couple Connie and Shona Ferguson has been extended to five days.

Mzansi Magic Publicity Manager Bongiwe Metsing says, "The Queen will broadcast 5 days a week from the 31st of July, in the same time slot.”

The hit show with an all-star cast has been a constant on the audience ratings list and has just been renewed for a second season.

Two brand new dramas have also been added to the channel line-up. 

INumber Number, inspired by the successful feature film of the same name and IKhaya (working title) the story of one man’s life-long quest to keep the secret of his two separate families.

Returning shows include: Ring of Lies, Igazi, Is’thunzi and Lockdown.
