When e.tv announced the cast of their new telenovela Ashes to Ashes, there were more than a few familiar faces, including 5 of the fired Generations actors.
The 5 actors (Nambitha Mpumlwana, Patrick Shai, Zenande Mfenyana, Maggie Benedict and Mandla Gaduka) spoke openly about leaving Generations for the new e.tv show.
"There's not an ounce of regret. There is not a single a single person in this world created to relive yesterday again," Nambitha says, adding that the show allows her and the rest of the cast a new freedom.
Her sentiments were echoed by Patrick Shai who said the cast was in search of a new home and had found it on Ashes to Ashes.
"We're grateful to be growing and not to be stuck in a dark place," added Mandla Gaduka.
The show, which is billed as the "re-generation" of 8pm TV, kicks off on the 2nd of March at 8pm.
