90's RnB singer in court for stealing a Porsche

Johannesburg - Well-known 90's RnB singer- turned-pastor, Lucky Shabangu, appeared in court yesterday for the theft of a Porsche worth almost R1 Million.

According to the Cape Argus, the singer was arrested, alongside his co-accused, last Friday after the luxury vehicle was found in their possession.

The pair were charged with the theft of the luxury vehicle in Seapoint, Cape Town and were remanded in custody. 

The court heard that Lucky is also being sought in a separate theft case in Sea Point, Cape Town. His fingerprints have been sent for testing to verify whether he has any previous convictions.

Meanwhile, the SAMA-winning Twins band member has had his case postponed until this Friday to allow for further investigation.
