AKA focuses on music after break-up announcement

Johannesburg - AKA is keeping his head down and hitting the studio hard after yesterday's shock break-up announcement.

DJ Zinhle posted a statement on her blog, confirming that her and AKA have split. It comes after the couple welcomed their first baby in July.

"We entered into our relationship with love, and it is with love and kindness that we leave it," read the statement.

Zinhle said that neither she or AKA would answer any questions about the split, and they seem to be sticking by their word. When The Juice contacted AKA yesterday, he simply said, 'No comment.'

Both have since been posting messages online, seemingly going on with their lives. Zinhle has been promoting gigs that she'll be doing over the weekend, while AKA has been hitting the studio, working on new music.
