Johannesburg - This morning The Juice reported how AKA had been fingered in a bar brawl incident.
Independent sources told us how AKA had allegedly thrown a bottle of champagne over a patron's head at Cocoon Lounge. (See the original article here)
At the time of publishing the article, his management did not want to comment on the incident.
However, today, AKA took to Twitter to set the record straight. "If I broke a champagne bottle over someone's head weeks ago. 1) You would have heard about it by now. 2) They would have laid charges by now. "
The musician went on to add that this is part of why he battles with fame. "At the end of the day there are people doing their utmost to damage my reputation."
He has since deleted his Tweets, saying that he was told to do so by management.
It's been confirmed that a police case has not been opened.
Our sources, however, stick by the story.
