AKA responds to Zakes Bantwini's challenge!

Johannesburg - Rapper AKA has responded to a challenge by fellow muso Zakes Batwini, setting the scene for probably one of the biggest battles of the year.

This week Zakes challenged the outspoken rapper to a game of diski in aid of breast cancer, and the All Eyes On Me rapper responded by accepting Zakes challenge.

For the second year in a row, Zakes will be hosting a soccer tournament which hopes to pit some of the biggest celebs in the country against each other.

The initiative, called 1GoalsforCancer, was started by Zakes after he lost his mother to cancer in 2007, and hopes to raise awareness about the disease.

Last year saw Zakes recruit the likes of David Kau, Lulo Cafe, Donald, Ma-E, Good Hope FM’s DJ Lloyd, Moneo, Pearl Thusi, DJ Zinhle, Bucie and Metro FM’s Amon Mokoena. While AKA's team included Twins on Decks, DJ Milkshake, director Allesio, Daine Klate, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Nomuzi Mabena, Nandi Mngoma and Kid X (read more about the match here). And while we might not see Zinhle and AKA take to the pitch on opposite teams this year, we are sure it's still going to be an epic match!
