AKA rocked by death rumours in fake Facebook post

Johannesburg - AKA is the latest celebrity to fall prey to "fake death" rumours.

A fake Facebook post, which emerged over the weekend caused quite a frenzy among the rapper's fans, who were left shocked by it.

The post, which quickly went viral included images of a severely mangled car with a status, announcing that AKA had died in the car crash.

Concerned fans rushed to AKA's Twitter and Instagram to ask each other if the reports were true.

AKA, who was involved in a traditional ceremony at the time, refused to address the rumours but later took to Twitter to simply acknowledge his "death."

Glad to hear you're not dead, Mega Doro! ...unless that's the ghost of you tweeting.
