Actress Sthandiwe Kgoroge suffers a stroke

The popular soap star is on the road to recovery after suffering a serious stroke earlier this week.

Best known for her role on Generations  Sthandiwe spoke out about her terrible ordeal to Daily Sun. "I felt a terrible sting all over my body and suddenly I lost control over my arms and legs," she explained.

The actress described how one side of her body had gone numb and she couldn't move. Sthandiwe added that she was about to take a bath when she collapsed.

Thankfully, her husband rushed her to the hospital immediately. Doctors immediately rushed her into the emergency room to run various tests, which later revealed that she has a blood clot in her brain.

Sthandiwe urges people to be more careful with their health. "A stroke can attack anyone. It does not discriminate. Age, colour or gender is irrelevant," she explained.
