Well, that wasn't enough to stop social media from spinning into a frenzy when former 7de Laan actress Yvonne van den Bergh publicly revealed her secret pleasure.
Yvonne explained to heat magazine that she decided to reveal her "second job" to the public after a cyber bully started black-mailing her with pictures of her in compromising BDSM positions.
The popular TV star admitted to being a BDSM dominatrix with several permanent submissive or subordinates, who she 'punishes' on a regular basis. Yvonne's BDSM name is Mistress Baton.
Yvonne said that she first learnt about BDSM when she read her grandfather's collection of novels at the age of seven. "I do it both for fun and professionally. BDSM is not bad. I also love making BDSM clips, which my husband films and edits for me," she posted on Facebook.
BDSM is a broad term for erotic behaviour between two consenting adults. It involves bondage, lots of spanking, whips, handcuffs and role-playing.
