Joburg- Amanda du Pont has remembered the positive impact DJ Sbu has made in her life.
She took to Instagram to pay tribute to him.
"SbuBu I've known known you since I was 16 yrs old. You have had my back in my irresponsible younger days when my parents weren't having it. @djsbu taught me one thing to grab all I can and fly and leave those who want to sleep to do just that. Every vacancy is an opportunity. I've watched you rebuild yourself over and over. You know I'm never wrong…this time this is is for you MOFAYA," she wrote.
It's no secret that DJ Sbu has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons, but maybe Amanda is right and we'll watch him rise like an eagle pretty soon.
