Amor hits back after Twitter user accuses her of cheating

Johannesburg - Afrikaans singer, Amor Vittone on Wednesday hit back at a Twitter user who accused her of being a cheat, and called her a "slag" on the social networking platform.

The user, @WesselVosser, tagged Amor and fellow singer, Karlien Van Jaarsveld in a post online.

He wrote; "Still wondering why the press keep slags in the spotlight? @Amor_Vittone and @KarlienVanJ both cheated. One into a marriage and one out...".

Amor was quick to respond and replied directly to him. She tweeted; "Oh Wessel. You stoop very low. It says a lot about your character. Shame, you are very jealous! You don't know me!"

Wessel has since deleted his Twitter account.

During divorce proceedings with her estranged husband, former Springbok rugby player, Joost van der Westhuizen in 2012, claims of cheating were made against both Amor and Joost.

While the couple are not officially divorced, they have mended their relationship and often enjoy holidays together as a family with their two children, Jordan and Kyle.

Meanwhile, Karlien announced her split from husband, Derick Hougaard last month. After she posted a message on Facebook, support groups were set up in favour of Derick on Facebook, with speculation that Karlien was in a rumoured romance with Springbok rugby player, Willie Le Roux.
