Anga's 'no show' angers eager fans

Johannesburg - Anga aka 'Naak Musiq' left thousands of fans infuriated, after failing to pitch at three separate events, in the Eastern Cape.

Mninawa Mbombo of Platinum Lounge in PE told Daily Sun that his place was almost destroyed by angry fans who demanded a refund on their R50 cover charge.

"About 3000 fans were waiting to see him. They started throwing bottles when he didn't arrive," said Mninawa.

The club owner also claims, that he paid Anga R20 000 for his performance, and spent R7500 on travel costs and accommodation.

A similar scene played out at another venue in PE, where about 5000 fans, who paid R100 each to see Anga were left in the lurch.

Meanwhile in Uitenhage, event organiser Mazizi Msutu told the newspaper, Naak told him a few hours before his performance time that he was struggling to get a flight.

The singer and actor has since promised to make it up to fans:

So quick question, does that mean he has to pay back the money?
