Johannesburg - Angelina Jolie landed at O.R Tambo on Thursday morning and headed straight to work, meeting with women's rights campaigners at an event hosted by British High Commissioner to South Africa, Judith Macgregor.
It's believed that Angelina spent the afternoon speaking with activists as well as survivors of sexual violence.
She was quoted as saying: "The global epidemic of violence against women can no longer be tolerated. Every individual has a role in a achieving this."

It's understood that she will be addressing the AU Summit, where she is expected to speak about the 'urgent need to address rape as a tactic of war.'Channel24 on Wednesday first reported that Angelina and her son, Pax, were spotted at OR Tambo International Airport after flying in from London.
