Sjoe, e.tv 's on a roll lately.
The channel has confirmed that it's launching another TV show, Matatiele in April.
If Ashes to Ashes and Umlilo is anything to go by, this one's sure to be a hit as well.
Matatiele is a rural drama series, which is best described as a modern day love story, which involves a long-standing feud between two clans.
The show will be shot in the small town of Matatiele in the Eastern Cape.
"We intend producing a culturally profound local drama, as well as ensure that the spirit of the people of Matatiele shines through when the show hits the screen this April," explained e.tv channels division MD, Monde Twala.
Adding, "We are broadening storytelling to be more inclusive of smaller provinces. This will also create dynamic story and a balanced view of life across South Africa."
The cast includes new talent as well as veteran actors such as former Generations actor Mike Mvelase, Isibaya's Motshabi Tyelele and Charmaine Mtinta.
Matatiele airs on 7 April at 9pm.
