Arthur Mafokate speaks fondly of Senzo Meyiwa

The king of Kwaito has opened up about the memories shared with Senzo Meyiwa just hours before the shooting.

Arthur spoke fondly of how they joked and spoke about soccer at the music festival Kelly was performing at last Sunday, just hours before Senzo was shot and killed.

"He came to my Can Do! summer festival at the Dorothy Nyembe Park in Soweto. In fact I didn't even notice him until Chomee made me aware that he was there because Kelly was scheduled to perform after me," Arthur told Sowetan.

The singer added that he went to the car with Senzo to apologise for not welcoming him and Kelly, made a joke, which they sent them all into a fit of laughter.

Arthur explained that he was such a big fan of Senzo, who made him love penalties because he was so good at stopping them.
