Atandwa Kani gets love on Twitter

Social media was abuzz last night as season one of Kowethu drew to an end.

Judging by the comments from fans on social media, the SABC1 drama series was a real hit. Atandwa Kani's fans took to his Twitter timeline to express how much they're going to miss him and the show.

Apparently it has not been confirmed if viewers can expect another season of the drama series.

"@AtandwaKani this guy can act yooh," tweeted one fan. 

While another viewer, pleaded for another season of Kowethu. "Be back okay? Be back!! @AtandwaKani @Thando_Thabetha @Lumnko_SA @bulada@KowethuSABC1 Well done, that was a brilliant story and acting," said the viewer. 

"The talent that is Atandwa Kani though, I'd love to see him in theatre," said Okuhle Danti on Twitter.
