International rap sensation B.O.B says he would love to collaborate with South African shock group, Die Antwoord.
He dropped the bombshell at a press conference for the I Heart Joburg music festival on Friday. B.O.B will perform at the festival this weekend and told the conference he is excited to be in South Africa for the first time.
B.O.B opened up about some of his collaborations with a few of the music industries best artists including Eminem, who he says greeted him for the first time by telling him he (B.O.B) was “a star”.
“When I met him for the first time he walked in and called me a star and I was like ‘no ways man! You the star!’”B.O.B remembers.
Despite collaborating with some of the world’s biggest acts, B.O.B says he would really like to work with South African shock group, Die Antwoord.
“The one South African band I would love to work with is Die Antwoord. They are South African, right?” I think that would be pretty cool” he said.
Now that sounds like an awesome collaboration. Guys, make it happen!
