Big Brother Hotshots back on track

If you're a Big Brother fan, the wait is over!

Producers of the hit reality TV show revealed that contestants will be announced next Wednesday ahead of the series, which kicks off on 5 October.

In a bold move the names of the 'housemates' will be unveiled on the official Big Brother website at 2pm.

"We are breaking new ground and the website and social media are the perfect platforms to engage with the fans in real-time," explained M-Net Africa's Regional Director Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu.

He promised fans some riveting television coupled with all the drama the show has become famous for.
