Birthday girl Minnie Dlamini's year in 5 moments

Johannesburg - Some say life starts at 25, but when Minnie Dlamini celebrates her 25th birthday today she will be celebrating a life (so far) that some of us could only dream of!

The last year has been quite an eventful one for Minnie, who started it off with a club altercation at her last birthday party. Luckily, the rest of the year only got better for Miss Dlamini.

Minnie's rollercoaster of love:

Minnie spent most of last year with nursing a broken heart after her high profile split from Bafana goalkeeper Itu Khune. The two came close to a reunion a few times, (to read what a source told us about their romance click HERE) but in the end it wasn't to be. Minnie has now apparently found love in the arms of Quinton Jones (read about their romance HERE).

Minnie goes into business:

Minnie soon threw her heartbreak into her business ventures. She started the Minnie Dlamini Foundation, to make a difference to impoverished communities (Read more about the foundation HERE) and even launched a sassy calendar that got us all drooling (For more on the calendar read HERE).

Minnie makes international friends and enemies

From meeting Pharrell Williams in London, to hanging out with members of Destiny's Child - her picture was even used by Rick Ross to promote his new album - Minnie racked up a number of international celebs she can now call friends. But sadly she also got into a Twitter argument about Donald Trump (Read more about her shading of Donald HERE) and made it clear she was "not friends" with Bonang (Read more about that HERE).

Minnie goes traditional:

Minnie made headlines at the start of 2015 when she participated in a traditional ceremony done for her by her parents to declare her a woman, as is custom in Zulu culture. The ceremony caused widespread debate on social media over the exact meaning of the ceremony. Whatever the ceremony meant, we think she looked stunning in her traditional gear.

Minnie dazzles as a host:

From stealing the limelight as host of the Metro FM Awards to presenting an award at the BETs. Minnie Dlamini took her presenting and hosting game to the next level. And she always looked good doing it!
