DJ Black Coffee is certainly flying the SA flag high.
The internationally recognised house DJ is currently on tour in America and working on new music, while in the Big Apple.
He's also bagged a lucrative, in-depth spread in the prestigious music magazine.
For those of you who don't know about Billboard magazine- it's like the bible of the music industry and securing a feature in it is a really big deal.
Black Coffee spoke to the mag about what it was like growing up in rural KZN and how he always knew that he wanted more for himself.
"From an early age, I just thought, I didn’t belong here, my family doesn’t belong here," he told the mag.
Black Coffee also explained how after he lost the use of his left hand, everyone thought that his dreams of making music was over but he refused to believe so.
He added that his disability just made him push himself harder.
Way to go Black Coffee- we're all super proud!
