Johannesburg - Sjoe! But who knew a post by an international DJ visiting Mzansi would cause such a backlash online?
Popular American producer and DJ, Osunlade, sparked a debate in Mzansi recently when his controversial post on the current state of South Africa had many up in arms!
In the post, Osunlade suggests that "Apartheid is still alive and kickin" in South Africa and that "Not only have blacks been trained to walk with their tails between their legs like well trained monkeys, but white supremacy is almost a given and not much a taken privilege." The post didn't sit well with a number of artists in Mzansi, including DJ's Culoe De Song and Black Coffee.
The internationally acclaimed, Black Coffee took to Twitter on Tuesday, after Metro FM's Mo Flava interviewed Osunlade, calling for Osunlade to "pen an apology" to South Africans.
#Osunlade needs to pen down an apology @moflavadj nothing will ever justify #welltrainedmonkeys

His call was welcomed by his fans who urged the American to either apologise or never step foot in Mzansi ever again!
So, now might not be a good time to call Black Coffee about a collab, Osunlade. Sorry mate...
