Boity, Lerato K and Pearl T talk gym

Johannesburg - We're just over the halfway mark of the year and you know what that means: it's time to check up on those new year's resolutions! Especially that one you made while looking in the mirror at the New Year's party - you know, the one to go to the gym more often?

Well, you weren't the only one making that promise to yourself: celebs across Mzansi pledged to make 2015 the year they worked on that bod of theirs.

We check up with 3 of them to see how those gym sessions are going:

Boity

Boity has always been known for her banging body and this year she worked even more on sculpting and toning.

"Still at it. No winter formed against the #SexyBodyMissions shall prosper #ResultsMakeMeWorkHarder #HealthisWealth," she wrote of her gym progress so far.

 Lerato K

2015 has been a massive breakout of sorts for Lerato K, who has over the last few months, cemented massive roles on radio and TV. And do we need to mention her growing DJ career?

But Lerato hasn't had an awful lot of luck in the gym department.

"I celebrate when I lose a kilo. I've only lost 3 kilos, I won't lie, now I weigh 57 . This thing is not easy... Can we just not lie. Eating healthy is hard, gym is terrible. But keep going."

"I guess it will be worth it. I only struggle with 2 areas, mokhaba and love handles. I'm not in love, why do I still have these damn love handles?" she jokes.

Pearl Thusi

Pearl Thusi keeps slaying at this gym game, hey! It's been a great year for the always on point Pearl and it seems even those training exercises are paying off. Life is good for Pearl, as long as the Bey Hive doesn't come stinging again!

"As we got ready this morning... was checking my progress via gym," she captioned a picture of herself in with her shirt off.
