Johannesburg - OMG. This just happened.
Popular DJ Euphonik has taken part in a Marie Claire campaign, which shows a host of local male celebrities donning high heels. The campaign, 'In Her Shoes' aims to show that it takes a real man to stand up against gender-based violence and experience life in a woman's shoes. (See our original story here)
But when the magazine posted a video link to Euphonik and why he is doing the campaign, his ex-girlfriend, Bonang Matheba didn't hold back.
In the video, Euphonik says: "By wearing woman's shoes I hope to create a lot of awareness, on particularly Africa, on the amount of abuse that happens with females in this country."
Bonang replied to the Instagram post, cc'ing her bestie, Somizi, with crying/laughing emoticons.
To which Euphonik replied to her saying: "Maybe next month they'll discuss the crying wolves."
To which she replied (She didn't tag him but her bestie Somizi again) "I've never laughed so hard."
In 2012, B laid charges of assault against Euphonik. She later dropped the charges and the couple reconciled.
Just last year, Eu spoke out about the incident for the first time, saying he felt betrayed. "For me it was like okay, cool, irrespective of what happened or how it happened... like what happened between our closed doors is between you and I." (Read that full story here)
