Bongo Maffin is NOT replacing Thandiswa Mazwai

Oh no! Say it ain't so!

Legendary music group Bongo Maffin is apparently planning to replace Thandiswa Mazwi. Move magazine is reporting that despite Thandiswa and her sister Ntsiki's tweets hinting that the group is axing her, Speedy has denied this.

He told the mag: "Thandiswa is going nowhere and there is no one replacing her. In fact we are planning on releasing an album by March next year." But according to Ntsiki's tweet, the Zabalalaza singer is "being pushed out of Bongo Maffin".

Thandiswa, who is currently working on a new album, apparently tweeted that the group better find a better replacement. But Stoan is also adamant that they are not getting rid of the singer. He told Move: "We have all had moments where one member wasn't available and we had to find backup. As for replacing Thandiswa with Zanele, that is not true?"
