Cassper Nyovest is giving back

Cassper Nyovest is not just about music.

The award-winning rapper, who hails from Mahikeng, North West, is also about giving back.

He told Move magazine that he's collaborating with the North West province government on development programmes. "We are trying to build a stable entertainment industry so that youngsters from Mahikeng won't have to leave home like we did to achieve their dreams."

As if that's not good enough, Cassper is also working on a concert to help raise funds for the fight against child cancer in Botswana. He explained to Move: "Artists will be performing for free and all funds raised will be used to help the child towards the R50 000 operation."
