Oi.
Cassper Nyovest has been labelled an "attention seeker" after voicing his opinion about gun violence on Twitter.
The hip-hop star referenced his shooting incident when commenting about soccer star Senzo Meyiwa's tragic killing. This sparked outrage among some tweeps.
"In August a FOOL pointed a gun at me and I was told I made too much of a big deal out of it. This morning one of our stars was gunned down. I don't even watch soccer but I can tell you the atmosphere in da country is pretty dark. This is some sad sad sh*t. RIP Senzo Meyiwa," he tweeted.
Shortly after posting the tweet went viral and Cassper didn't take it lying down.
Cassper hit out at haters telling them that it wasn't about them but about gun violence. "Khuli Chana went through the same thing, shared his story and it's cool. When I do it I want attention??? Pathetic!!!" he tweeted.
Khuli Chana also had a similar experience when his family was held at gunpoint and he also shared the traumatic experience on Twitter.
“It's not even about me or Khuli Chana. It's not even about me & Aka. It's about the problem that we have in South Africa regarding guns," Cassper added.
