While some of us are still trying to recover from the shock of that earth tremor, our celebs have found a way to poke fun at the situation. The tremor was felt in some parts of Gauteng, North West, Free state and even in Botswana.
Shortly after things settled, local comedian Trevor Gumbi took to Twitter to express his reaction. "I just ran outta my crib like Tom Cruise in ALL his movies ! Now I gotta walk back and ask if the kids are okay,..."
Swimmer Cameron van der Burg tweeted: "Tremor must of been @Team_SA_2014 touching down with all that gold! #Glasgow2014."
Cassper Nyovest's tweet had us in stitches. He wrote: "I know I said I wanted to shake the world when I dropped my album but this? Yoh!!! #Tsholofelo." He then tweeted a picture of himself trying to to keep calm while his house was shaking.
Meanwhile, DJ Lulo Cafe saw this as a sign for a collabo with rapper Khuli Chana. He tweeted: "Im on the phone with @KhuliChana and a mini land tremour occurs....haha....that collabo must happen...Modimo o buile!"
Actor Hlomla Dandala wrote: "If ur country doesn't hv Twitter to give up-to-the-second updates, how can we know for sure that u had the tremors? Cc @Zim @BrendahNyakuda."
LOLZ!
