Chad le Clos has had one banger of a year!

Chad is no doubt the best swimmer in the country. This year he made headlines by becoming the first swimmer in history to win the 50m, 100m and 200m butterfly, at the Fina World Short-Course Championships in Doha.

This achievement saw Chad walk away with four gold medals, which is reportedly the most number of medals a SA swimmer has scooped at the international championship.

The International Swimming Federation (Fina) has named the olympic gold medalist as the world’s best for 2014. This came just after Chad was named as the Sportman of the Year at the SA Sports Awards on Sunday.

Chad, we are very proud of you!
