Johannesburg - Rumour has it that Charlize Theron has been cast to star in Captain Marvel, which Angelina Jolie is expected to direct.
It has not yet been officially confirmed that Angelina will be in the director's seat, but rumours have been doing the rounds for a while now.
Sources told OK! Magazine that Angelina has been earmarked for the director's role, and if Charlize signs on, then it's pretty much guaranteed.
"Marvel has been courting Angie to direct the project and Charlize is a clear fan favourite for the starring role. If Charlize were to get the part, Angie would sign on to work with her new pal," the source said.
