Tol Ass Mo, who is also a Vuzu reality TV star, is facing a charge of intimidation and appeared in the Newlands Magistrates Court yesterday. According to Daily Sun, he was arrested after a charge was laid against him by a white man who had allegedly called him the k-word in Melville two weeks ago.
He told the paper that the case was dropped after he told his side of the story in court. But a police officer said the comedian was released on R1000 bail and was due back in court.
Tol Ass Mo explained that he was withdrawing money at an ATM when a man lost his temper.
He said: “My car was parked in front of the ATM and my wife was sitting in the car while I was withdrawing the money. He was struggling to get past my car and started swearing at my wife. I rushed to the car to see if she was alright and as I was about to drive off, he called me the k-word. I hit the brakes, got out of the car and manhandled him.”
