Confirmed: Bridget Masinga and her husband have split

Johannesburg - After months of speculation and rumours it has been officially confirmed that actress and presenter Bridget Masinga has parted ways with her hubby, music producer Thabiso Khati .

In a statement to Drum magazine, Bridget's publicist says the couple, who wed in 2009, separated in 2014 shortly after filing for divorce and cited "“irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.

Bridget confirmed the split, but is adamant it was an amicable parting.

“As much as T and I remain friends who still chuckle at the silly things, we’ve come to the realization that we were better off as platonic friends than we were as a married couple. And so we made the decision to release each other from the binds of marriage,” says Masinga in the statement.

Man, we just hate it when our celebs consciously uncouple.
