Confirmed: DJ Kent parts ways with 5FM

After 9 years creating mixes for 5FM's popular Ultimix, DJ Kent has decided to call it a day.

The popular DJ made the announcement on Friday afternoon.

"After 9yrs of the Ultimix I've decided to end this amazing journey.Thanks to 5FM for the great opportunity & thank you all for the support," he wrote on Twitter.

The news left many of Kent's fans in shock with some asking why he decided to leave after such a long run, while others wished him good luck for the future.
