It seems like not everyone is a fan of DJ Sbu's energy drink, Mo Faya, especially the big bosses at Metro FM.
Just like we told you last week, the big guys at Metro reportedly had a serious problem with DJ Sbu promoting his drink at the Metro FM Awards recently and have now decided to suspend him, pending an investigation into his conduct.
According to Sunday World the popular DJ was notified of his suspension last week but failed to collect his suspension letter as requested - a stunt that could see Sbu lose his job at the station permanently and puts his TV show Friends Like These in jeopardy.
Apparently the station beefed up security at its Auckland Park offices on Saturday in case DJ Sbu bulldozed his way into the studio to present his Sound Revival show but it was not needed as Sbu collected his letter and left.
Sbu took to Instagram to ask his fans if he deserves to be "Fayad for #MoFaya?" and was offered little sympathy, with many feeling he should be kicked off Metro FM.
