DJ Bongz is back!

DJ Bongz is making a comeback! The Durban-based DJ, who suffered a stroke last year, has released a new album in hopes to climb back up on the charts.  The album, titled Mabala Noise, has 17 tracks.

He told Daily Sun: “This album is going to sweep my fans off their feet. “It’s a kwaito-meets-house music and it caters for everyone,” DJ Bongz said.

After suffering from a stroke, the DJ took a break from industry and has healed through physiotherapy. His illness was reportedly due to stress and fatigue.

Bongz told the paper that he was getting enough rest to avoid getting ill again. “I’ve hired some people who are going to push my album so that I get enough rest. Sometimes I have to perform and I can’t be on the street to sell my album, so I need promoters to focus on that,” he said.

This is his fourth album and it features Jaziel Brothers and others.
