Johannesburg- The South Gauteng High Court has found former Jozi FM presenter Donald Sebolai guilty of murdering his girlfriend, Dolly Tshabalala.
The judge on Monday found that DJ Donald did not act in self defence and that Dolly did not stab herself to death. The judge also found that Donald clearly did intend to kill Dolly Tshabalala by not seeking medical help for her immediately after the stabbing.
The popular radio personality, better known as DJ Donald Duck, has been standing trial for the murder of his girlfriend, Dolly Tshabalala who was killed at her Soweto flat in June last year (more on that here).
Donald had previously pleaded not guilty to the charges, claiming in his testimony that Dolly was violent and jealous and that Dolly was stabbed while he tried to disarm her during an argument.
Sentencing has been set for the 25th of November where Donald is set to appeal the judgement.
