DJ Donald Duck murder trial postponed

Johannesburg- Former Jozi FM personality Donald Sebolai, popularly known as 'DJ Donald Duck, is currently standing trial for the murder of his girlfriend, Dolly Tshabalala in Soweto last year.

The DJ's trial is being heard at the South Gauteng High Court in Palm Ridge.

When the former radio personality took to the stand for the first time on Wednesday afternoon, he described how his relationship with Dolly was a turbulent one.

He told the court that "it was love at first sight" when he first met Dolly, and that he thought the regular fights were all part of being in a relationship.

However, Donald did admit that jealousy was a big challenge in their romance. "I loved her from the first time I saw her," he told the court.

The trial was set to continue at 11.30am on Thursday morning, but the case was postponed by Judge Cassim Moosa because prosecutor Elize Le Roux was needed for sentencing in another case.

The trial will continue tomorrow.
