DJ Sbu: "I deeply regret my actions"

Metro FM has released a statement following the arrest of DJ Sbu on Friday night.

The popular DJ and TV personality was caught by Metro Police clocking 176km/h in a 120km/h zone.

"Metro FM regrets this unfortunate incident, and as a station, we do not condone speeding in any way as things could have gone horribly wrong with worse repercussions. The station is in full support of the legal process and will let that take its course accordingly," read the statement.

Meanwhile, DJ Sbu deeply regrets the incident and is remorseful. "He takes the incident very seriously and apologizes to his fans, followers and to South African’s at large," added the statement.

This isn't the first time DJ Sbu has been arrested for speeding. He was caught back in 2007 for  doing 256km/h in a 120km/h zone near the Grasmere Toll Plaza.
