DJ Sbu leaves fans in the lurch

A Cape Town club owner is reportedly taking legal action against DJ Sbu after he failed to pitch up at a gig.

It's believed that the nightclub owner is now claiming R40 000, which includes the R20 000 appearance fee he paid upfront, accommodation and security measures he had to put in place.

The owner told Sunday World that the Metro FM DJ caused him so much stress as fans left his club in anger after waiting for his performance.

DJ Sbu told the newspaper that he missed the gig because he had a 'near death experience.' Apparently his tyre burst, while he was on the way to the airport and couldn't think of anything else.

He's promised to refund the club owner's money.

Oi.
