DJ Shimza in money feud over R10K

Johannesburg- DJ Shimza is reportedly embroiled in a nasty feud with a businessman, who has accused him of not paying for services rendered.

It's believed that the businessman will be taking the popular DJ to the small claims court in attempt to get back his money.

Apparently the entrepreneur, Sello Semenya, provided lighting for the food stalls at Shimza's one man show last year and a DJ battle in May this year.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Sello explained that he had a verbal agreement with Shimza for R8000 for the one man show. "I later agreed to do the DJ battle in April and charged R3500, which hasn't been paid either," he added.

But DJ Shimza has rubbished the allegations, saying that he settled his bill of R600 long ago.

Shimza also claims that the businessman has been threatening his life. "I thought I was doing something nice for a guy from ekasi. I don't understand how a person can charge that much when he's not providing stage lights. His lights are small household bulbs. We didn't even get invoices from him. So I don't know where he's getting his numbers from," he added.

Shimza also plans to open cases of intimidation and defamation of character against Sello.
